Hey, Mitch? (and the rest of you) We will never forget what you did.
Enough. I have the scar to prove it.
Hah!!
Dogs don't sweat. That's why they always have their tongues hanging out. That's their cooling system.
I taught my dog to bite democRATs. He has to lick his butt to get rid of the taste.
The answer is paws. That’s why they leave prints on floors in hot weather. When I’m working with them, I sometimes spray their feet with water.
Cool.
Correcto Mundo! Dogs pant to cool down, but sweat through their paws
True!
Dogs only produce sweat on areas not covered with fur, such as the nose and paw pads, unlike humans who sweat almost everywhere. However, they do have sweat glands, called apocrine glands, associated with every hair follicle on their body.
I had to look up apocrine glands. Learn something new every day.
“Eccrine glands produce and release an odorless, clear fluid that evaporates and aids with heat loss. Apocrine glands, located in the armpits and genital area, secrete a thick fluid that releases an odor when it mixes with bacteria on the skin’s surface.” https://www.petmd.com/news/view/how-do-dogs-sweat-37585
“eccrine sweat glands is limited to the footpads.”

I don’t know that we really know how sensitive their sense of smell is. It’s almost magical. They can be used to find ancient archeology and humans that died a really long time ago, detect tumors, blood chemistry, etc.
No. 10 is a big surprise. Pulik are eastern european.
What’s most facinating to me is how my German Shepherd figures out how to communicate with me. She trained me that if she stands on the left side of my recliner and stares at me she wants to go out. This morning when I opened the door to let her in she stood behind a table instead of running in like normal. She was telling me me she wanted to stay outside. Sometimes I think she’s right on the verge of talking to me.
They do from what I understand through paws. Its not much. Most preditors don’t sweat anymore than dogs do. It sweat produces oder which prey can smell. Merocine sweat glands
Yes, I agree.
