this was the doc who wound up having zero platelets just a couple days after the vaccine.

its not coincidental

its a strong causality

Its ‘unusual’. So, no biggie. Two percent you’ll just die from it, its unusual.

I find this very interesting, as I have ITP as well. What I have is chronic and not acute, and has only been a serious problem for me about three times. Never close to this serious, thankfully.

With ITP (immune thrombocytopenia), your immune system targets your platelets and destroys them. If platelet levels get too low, you can have spontaneous hemorrhaging, as it seems may have been the case here. This would happen if you didn’t have enough platelets to form clots. I will not be taking the vaccine.

How long does this condition normally take to develop?
Without that information this is just wild speculation.

Hmm, looks like others have reached similar conclusions.

The Dr’s appear incorrect in their diagnosis. They called it “acute thrombocytopenic purpura” when it appears to be “chronic thrombocytopenic purpura.”

This is adult onset with idiopathic origin.

Per Johns Hopkins:

In ITP(idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura) the immune system is stimulated to attack your body’s own platelets. Most often this is a result of antibody production against platelets. In a small number of cases, a type of white blood cell called T-cells will directly attack platelets. This immune system error may be a result of any of the following:

Medications (including over-the-counter medications) can cause an allergy that cross-reacts with platelets.
Infections, typically viral infections, including the viruses that cause chicken pox, hepatitis C, and AIDS, can prompt antibodies that cross-react with platelets.

Pregnancy

Immune disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus

Low-grade lymphomas and leukemias may produce abnormal antibodies against platelet proteins.

Sometimes the cause of immune thrombocytopenic purpura is not known.

I have observed similar symptoms in anemic patients.

I’ll take the vaccine, if it ever becomes available for mere non-government and non-medical people.
