National Guard, Federal Protective Services Deployed Amid Chaos at U.S. Capitol

President Donald Trump, who has asked his supporters to remain peaceful and respect law and order, requested the deployment of National Guard troops and other federal protective services amid chaos at the U.S. Capitol Wednesday that resulted in one woman being shot by authorities.
“At President [Trump’s] director, the National Guard is on the way, along with other federal protective services,” Kayleigh McEnany, the White House press secretary, wrote on Twitter. “We reiterate President Trump’s call against violence and to remain peaceful.”
Now I’ll look for Dems asking, see what I can find. Hmm, read many articles about the 20,000 troops for inauguration but not one states who the request from. Of course Trump has to issue the order, and can do so himself, but so far no mention if any Demsheviks asked. Maggotmayor Bow Wow only asked for the 6th.
One sample article about the large Troops in DC for inauguration, the wording in every article is almost exactly the same. So if someone requested President Trump to order this larger number for the inauguration or if he decided to do it himself is not stated anywhere I could find.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - More than 20,000 soldiers from the US National Guard will be on hand to help secure the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden next week, acting Chief of the Metropolitan Police Department Robert Contee said in a press briefing on Tuesday.
“With respect to the National Guard, those numbers, the final numbers - because this has been designated as a national special security event, the final numbers will be provided from the United States Secret Service,” Contee told reporters. “I think you can expect to see somewhere upwards beyond 20,000 members of the National Guard that will be here in the footprint of the District of Columbia.” Contee said.
On Monday, President Donald Trump approved an emergency declaration for Washington, DC ahead of the 59th presidential inauguration that will remain effective through 24 January and aims to protect “public health and safety in the District of Columbia”.
