Got nuthin’ for Truman
“Give ‘em Hell Harry!”

Perhaps my memory is longer than yours.
******************************************************************************
Seems like I remember him saying something along the line of I never did give anyone hell-I just told the truth and they thought it was hell.

This could be a quote from President Trump. He tells the truth, they scream lie, then eventually the truth of what he said is confirmed.

Greatest President ever.

re: Harry Truman

I think Truman’s greatest attribute was his honesty, which was the foundation of his being incorruptible. He said that you don’t get rich in politics unless you’re a crook. Proof of that was when he left the Presidency, he and his wife boarded a train to go home to Missouri, to live 9n his mother-in-law’s house. He’d never owned a house, because he couldn’t afford one.

Imagine any Politician today doing the same.
