Social media giant Twitter has confirmed it is working on plans to crack down on President Donald Trump when he leaves office, with possible actions including banning him from the platform. Jack Dorsey's company revealed they will seek to crack down harder on Trump’s personal Twitter account after he leaves office.

I don't understand why Trump doesn't move, with his millions of followers, to Parler. Why does he support Twitter with his presence? He could even stay on Twitter while phasing into Parler. I just don't understand the reluctance to support a true, free-speech alternative to Twitter. If he moves to Parler, Parler will overtake Twitter in a few years. Same thing with MeWe overtaking Facebook. Heck, Rumble could even rival Youtube in a few years if we work at it. We need to do more than complain about Twitter, Facebook, and the rest---we need to support the alternatives.

Trump moving to another platform, exclusively, would greatly hurt Twitter’s stock value. Next, the update to the law to hold Twitter responsible for what they allow to be posted would be the nail in its coffin.

Folks, I would make sure your investments do not include such companies in the not too distant future. Mutual funds and ETFs often have these in their portfolios.
