Not sure if I agree with this map....

Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookies???? No way.

And, I thought PA's fave Christmas dessert would be 'some homemade pumpkin pie' 🎶

My fave Christmas desserts are: fudge, Mexican Wedding cookies, eggnog (is a dessert? okay :), pecan pie and chocolate cream pie.

How about y'all?

Pudding??!!

Weird. I don’t believe I’ve ever had pudding at Christmastime.

In GA, I’m surprised it’s not pecan pie. Everyone I know serves pecan pie at Christmas lol

Like so many of these types of maps, I think someone just made something up. “Andes Peppermint” except for a brief burst of popularity in the late 80s, I dont think Ive ever seen anyone eat those.

Did you see the vegan Christmas cookies for Missouri?!?!? For California maybe, but not Missouri!

And what is with this pudding for Tennessee??? My family’s history in Tennessee goes back to at least 1850. I’ve heard of figgy pudding but never known anyone to eat it. Maybe Tennesseans have a secret fascination for Downton Abbey? I have heard of a plum pudding cake or sugar plum pudding (depends on recipe) so maybe that’s it?

The only ‘special’ pudding we’re known for is banana pudding, but that’s more common in the summer, I think. Never had it for Christmas.

All good, especially the Mexican wedding cookies and pecan pie. Cheesecake is my all time favorite.
