The fearbros and covidiots have seen a resurgence lately on freerepublic. If you come in this thread or if you lurk I want you to know this - the Flubros and Flubras are right and you are wrong. And if you say “where is your data”, or “where is your source” - just know this - we are right because we are wise and you are wrong because you are unwise. There is no justification for taking away constitutional rights. Whatever short term perceived benefit there is from even temporarily stripping these rights, it is always a bad idea in the long run.

We have some combination of two things that we must do if we are going to win all of the elections that we deserve to win in the future:
1.Eliminate the Coronavirus-inspired absentee voting that facilitates fraud
2.Somehow make Coronavirus-inspired absentee voting as secure as in person voting. I am no expert in election/voting security so I have no answer for this. And my fear is that if you stop one type of absentee voting fraud then industrious criminals will develop a new kind of fraud to replace it.

Good for some emergencies, but for diagnosis and treatment of chronic conditions, they may as well offer the patient a pack of cigarettes.

My wellness MD has never killed anyone. Same with my chiropractor, natural family nurse practitioner, and a few others. And truth be told, the urgent care docs near me are awesome, probably because they have a great bedside manner, compassion, and sense of humor.
I was able to draw out that conventional MD’s have contempt for diet, nutrition and natural approaches, just as I proposed earlier in the discussion. Thanks for making memories here. Greatly appreciated.

Modern medicine has saved me a couple times but it also almost killed me a couple times.

I doubt that. I gather you are paranoid, but a lot of us are not. I don’t cower in fear now. I don’t hide in my basement. I live my life. Without masks.
But I don’t believe medicine is evil, that all government is bad, and that everyone is out to get me. The virus exists. It can kill, although the media and democrats have GREATLY overblown both how contagious it is and how deadly.
I spent 25 years in the US military. I’ve been inoculated for anthrax. Yellow fever. Cholera. All sorts of weird stuff, some of which is almost impossible to catch. Don’t have a second head or three eyes and I’m not wasting away into nothingness.
I fully agree that nutrition and diet and exercise should be the first option of treatment for many things. I don’t believe supplements and diet make me invincible. YMMV.

And yet, as the conversation went on, at least one conventional MD confirmed what I have experienced my whole life - that they will collectively use the legal system to take away medical freedoms from those who do not always accept their worldview. The AMA spent the better part of 50 years trying to shut down chiropractic care. We know very well that they would also shut down homeopathy, naturopathy, wellness, functional medicine and/or any other deviation from the medical mafia, if they could. They hate the DSHEA law, which classified supplements as food. Etc etc. Arrogant and tyrannical are two words that come to mind. Fauxci is their poster child.
So if Biden steals the election and US healthcare becomes more NHS-like, seems to me there will be a great need for more band-aids, cryin’ towels for EVERYBODY(docs & patients)......and burial plots/ash dumps.
