A badly burned body found on the floor of a River North parking garage early Tuesday has been identified as a 60-year-old real estate attorney, officials said.
Louis S. Cohen, 60, was of the 200 block of Ivy Lane in Highland Park, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy Wednesday was pending and did not determine a cause and manner for Cohen’s death, the office said.
Just before 6 a.m. Tuesday, police and fire crews responded to a fire in the 11th floor of a parking garage in the 300 block of North LaSalle Drive and found the body on the floor.
The cause of the fire was unknown. Police were conducting a death investigation. Arson detectives were called to the scene. . .

DLA Piper, a multinational law firm, boasts nearly 30 years of experience in China and over 140 lawyers dedicated to its “China Investment Services†branch. Harris’s links to the company are found with her husband, Douglas Emhoff, who has served as a Partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice and its Media, Sport, and Entertainment sector since 2017.
Smartmatic is the company that got the proven loser in the Venezuela election (proven by actual voting tabulation records from precincts before Smartmatic had time to manipulate them) to come out as the winner. The fraud was so blatant that even Antony Blinken would not recognize Maduro as the legitimate leader of Venezuela.
The Smartmatic software that enabled that kind of blatant manipulation to reverse a landslide is the same software that Dominion uses, as Dominion is the baby of Smartmatic through several different breakups and purchases.
That should tell us everything we need to know. But the ability to overturn results was documented in front of Judge Nina Totenberg who ended up throwing out the lawsuit after going through everything except her verdict. Blatantly doing whatever she had to do in order to not be forced to make the blatantly obvious appropriate ruling. And the Tina Peters case out in Colorado proves that Dominion deliberately destroyed data required to be retained and lied about the deletion just being “routine maintenance”.
I really, really, really hope all this evidence eventually ends up in a military tribunal where the perpetrators of the 2008 coup and its continuation until now are tried for treason while the military oversees the restoration of Constitutional governance.
