The air defense media confronted, at dawn today, Wednesday, an Israeli aggression in the sky of Damascus, which resulted in the deaths of Syrian army soldiers.
The military source said, according to what SANA published: “At about 3:11 am this day, the Zionist enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan on the southern region, and our air defenses confronted it and dropped a number of missiles.
The aggression resulted in the death of three soldiers, the wounding of one soldier, and some material losses.
The Israeli enemy admitted the aggression, as the Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adrai posted on his page claiming that “the Israeli warplanes raided what they said were targets of the Iranian Quds Force and the Syrian army.”
During the years of the war, the Israeli occupation launched many raids on Syria, which were confronted by the air defense media before reaching their goals.

New York City schools shutting down as virus cases rise

New York City public schools will close starting on Thursday with the surging coronavirus cases.
Richard Carranza, the school system’s chancellor said in an email to principals on Wednesday that the closure will be temporary. However, no reopening date is scheduled.
Students have been attending some in-person classes under a hybrid reopening plan, but that will now be halted as the city undertakes rising cases.
