Yes, he sided with the libs to decline the case—it was not based on the merits. Just kicked the can down the road hoping to avoid involvement-maybe??
I don’t really care for Roberts, but it’s interesting to note that his vote allowed the sting to go forward.
Yeah he declined to vote for a prior injunction that would have prevented the counting of the late ballots, but said it was because it wasn’t ripe until they actually DID count the ballots. Again, you have to let the shoplifter leave out the door.
