Project Veritas has released a video with USPS whistleblower Richard Hopkins asserting that he did not recant his allegations of election fraud, a lie that was published by the Washington Post.
Additionally, the organization posted recordings of federal agents attempting to coerce and intimidate Hopkins into recanting.
Hopkins made major waves when he went on record about Postmaster Rob Weisenbachs orders to backdate ballots to November 3rd in Erie, Pennsylvania, so that late ballots would be accepted.
Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Election Day to be considered valid and counted, per US law.
In the newly released recording, Agent Russell Strasser says that I am trying to twist you a little bit.
We have senators involved. We have the Department of Justice involved. We have- Strasser says.
Hopkins interjects that Trumps lawyers have also been in contact with him.
I am not I am actually. I am trying to twist you a little bit because in that, believe it or not, your mind will kick in, Strasser says. We like to control our mind. And when we do that, we can convince ourselves of a memory. But when youre under a little bit of stress, which is what Im doing to you purposely, your mind can be a little bit clearer. And were going to do a different exercise too, to make your mind a little bit clearer. So, this is all on purpose, Strasser said.

Heads would be rolling, if I was POTUS. Most of the Intel services, to include the FBI, need to be thoroughly cleaned out, like Day 3 of Trump’s first term, but yeah, a second term, Trump should be dropping bombs all over deep state....
They tried classic brainwashing techniques on him.

The much watched “Never Talk to the Police” video. I’m guessing that applies to the FBI as well.
bttt
Yep. Trying to convince him that what he thought he heard, he didn't really hear, because his imagination got the better of him. What a$$holes.
Media has headlines out tonight quoting the House Oversight committee, that the witness recanted to these “investigators”.
He should have had a lawyer with him. He belongs to a Union. He pays Union dues. They should have had a lawyer who works for the Union in that room with him. Unions have their own legal representatives. If his Union isn't willing to help him, he needs to file a complaint with the Federal Labor Relations Authority. I had to file a complaint with the New York State Labor Relations Board against my Union. The stupid Union lawyer never showed up for the hearing. The Judge got him on the phone and in front of everyone in the room, reamed him a new a$$hole. I won my case. It was for reimbursement of sick time that I was illegally forced to use in regards to a workman's comp case.
The FBI is totally corrupt, from top to bottom.
Fire Wray now!
The FBI has a long history of this type of “questioning” when they are trying to cover up “political crimes”.
These interrogations (to get witnesses to stop believing their lying eyes) were notorious during the JFK and RFK assassination “investigations” as well as the OKC bombing “investigation” and Vince Foster “suicide investigation” .
What was talked about on Hannity last night? I thought that more details on election corruption and fraud were to be discussed.
I think we need to find out which Senators have been talking to the FBI and what their motivation for doing so
Good for you!
"He should have had a lawyer with him."
Yes he should have had a lawyer with him. But keep in mind things are a little different for a government employee. First, my understanding is that the "agent" doing the interrogation was a USPS IG/Postal Inspector, not FBI.
Most people are obviously familiar with the Miranda Warning given in a custodial interview of a criminal suspect. Most people are not familiar with Garrity and Kalkines warnings which apply to government employees. In the private sector, an employer can require an employee to provide a statement regarding an investigation of a workplace incident, be it sexual harassment, a workplace injury, etc. It's pretty straightforward: "I'm your boss, and I want you to tell the investigator what you saw. Failure to do so is failing to comply with a directive from your employer and may result in administrative action, up to and including termination."
It's a little bit different for a government employee, where the government doing the investigation is also the "boss". Garrity warnings arose from the interrogation of a NJ police officer accused of fixing tickets (which he did). His employer (the police department) required him to cooperate with the investigation as a condition of employment, during which he admitted to fixing tickets. The problem with this was that his admission of criminal activity was coerced by holding the threat of termination from his job, and it was held that his right against self-incrimination had been violated.
Consequently, Garrity Warnings were developed which, like a Miranda Warning, do advise a government employee that they do have a right to remain silent, but that information they provide may be used against them as evidence in a criminal proceeding.
Kalkines Warnings are the flip side of that coin. A Kalkines warning basically advised the government employee is being required by their employer to cooperate with an administrative or criminal investigation; however, because there is compulsion to provide a statement, they are essentially immunized from any self-incriminating statements being used as evidence in a criminal proceeding, and that the statement may not be shared with any parallel/concurrent criminal investigations. This does not immunize the employee from perjury if they knowingly lie or deliberately present false information during their immunized statement, nor does it immunize the employee from adverse administrative actions by the employer.
It would be interesting to see which warning the postal worker was given in this case.
An FBI agent named Strasser. Perfect. Wiki: Otto Strasser, together with his brother Gregor Strasser, was a leading member of the party’s left-wing fraction, and broke from the party due to disputes with the dominant “Hitlerite” faction. He formed the Black Front, a group intended to split the Nazi Party and take it from the grasp of Hitler. This group also functioned during his exile and World War II as a secret opposition group.
His brand of Nazism is now known as Strasserism.
I think these were Postal Investigators.
