You would be surprised at the number of patriots that would simply go Galt.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Galt succeeded because the great industrialists joined in.
In OUR world, the wealthiest and most powerful business leaders are actually leaders of the Marxist/globalist movement, which they evidently see as the means of establishing a permanent plutocracy.
True enough about Ayn Rands Galt. But “Atlas Shrugged” was set in a world not long past the Industrial age. Not a criticism at all, but she could not have seen the technical age we live in now.
In today’s world, I believe Galt would consist of the working man..he drives trucks, he farms, he knows carpentry, he can cook a great meal with a potatoe and a bit of fire. Without knowing the Trades, your typical media giant, Hollywood mogul, the techie and Wall Street investor would starve to death.
They have technology, computers, FB, but they have no common sense or ability to fix anything useful on their own. What happens when the car breaks down? Can they write a code to fix a toilet?
It is the common man that has the power. I say we go Galt
