It appears to me that Trump is on the way to a crooked loss. Of course it becomes a huge matter for many courts that could take months to resolve. On Jan 20th, 2021 who is the POTUS? It looks to me like in a crisis Pelosi may take over the Executive branch until a clear winner is named.

The truth is no one will ever rebel until it is too late.
It may work at that point, but the point people will actually do it, usually is the point where it is the most costly in blood, family, and money.
Adding, in theory, if a state’s vote cannot be certified by December 14th, in theory, that states’s slate of electors cannot be designated, and cannot meet, and therefore that state cannot cast its electoral votes.
That could lead to neither candidate having a majority, forcing the election to the congress.
Only problem is Liz Cheney as the only Rep in WY. Makes her a key swing vote, and she is pure swamp.
In no path does Pelosi ‘temporarily fill in’ as president. Honestly, think it'll be all well resolved before Thanksgiving.
Since the new House is sworn in before PDJT’s term expires, it would be the NEW Speaker who would be next in line.

The only scare talk is talk that this election is ever going to get to Jan 20th and Nancy Pelosi will take over. It’s never going to happen.
In the next two months, Biden will be indicted. And found to have run for president for purposes of evasion making him ineligible. Trump by default gets a second term.

You are absolutely correct. That comes from the 12th Amendment to the Constitution. Boy, those guys in the 1700s and 1800s were huge visionaries. I’m glad they were.

Can’t the courts order the contested states to throw out and not count ballots submitted after the polls closed?
Actually each state gets one vote in the House, and we have the majority when it is counted that way.
House elects Trump and Senate elects Pence.

If no one gets to 270, the new House votes for President. Each state delegation gets one vote. The new Senate elects the Vice President.
