Per the link above, it looks like Troy Aikman is a fairly staunch Republican. When I heard his comments, especially the “Kamala-Biden ticket,” I thought he was being sarcastic.
Aikman and Buck voted for Harris-Biden.

USAF year these for training. They can do a four ship formation synchronized to achieve time over target over a lake or over a stadium empty or full. The pilots don’t see it, they don’t hear applause they don’t do it for personal gain. It’s a flyover.
Aikman can be rude about the military or not His choice. But he was rude toward our military. I don’t forget these offenses.

Stop the public funding / tax breaks to private sport teams to build their stadiums. Let them bear the cost of infrastructure improvement around their properties. Stop paying them to send honor guards to their games, make them pay for the flyovers. Some teams will and some will not but let’s have an honest accounting of which are patriotic or not. Let the cost come out of their ungrateful owners and player’s pocket, btw way we’re $27 trillion in debt.

Aikman and Buck both owe their viewers a more full explanation of exactly what they meant by their comments.
If they are not critical of flyovers, they need to expressly state that they want them. If they are not supportive of a Kamala-Harris ticket that would eliminate flyovers, they need to clearly state that. If they are opposed to wasteful government spending in other areas that have nothing to do with flyovers, they need to state that.

I am a US Army veteran, I say it IS a waste of money. Sure, it is flight hours, but how about making the training more like combat and real operations flight hours.
