If you're like me, you support President Trump and his re-election.
My two questions for you are:
Have you been asked your opinion about the election by any of the mainstream pollers?
Did you give your opinion about the election to any of the mainstream pollers?
My answers would be NO and NO?
In the past I willingly participated in polls because I felt that they might help to direct public opinion toward my own opinion. I would answer phone calls from callers unknown to me hoping they were pollers.
Now I answer none of these calls. I will not talk to anyone I do not know.
I don't know how many FReepers there are, but if nearly all are like me, then it would be no wonder that President Trump trails Joe Biden in the polls.

I simply tell the pollster that I’m a registered WHIG and they either ask me “What’s a Whig?” or they hang up.
I ask them what they will pay me for my answers.
They say that it’s a public service. I answer that my input is worth something to someone because they are being paid to conduct the poll, so how much will they pay me?
At this point they hang up.

I’ve run volunteer phone banks for a couple of Presidential elections. It seems impolite to me to hassle people over a phone call. Like most FReepers here say: if you don’t want to talk, don’t answer the phone.
No, I haven’t...it’s none of their damn business. I don’t do any surveys for ANYTHING—they’re not building their data base on me.
They are a joke. Why bother.
not this year, we switch off the land line but of all the junk calls. We only respond to landline voice mail if it is important to us.
I likely could have based on the number of calls where the ID states it is “political call” but I declined to answer.

For the first time EVER I got a Rasmussen poll call last night.
I answered that I was a poor black man making less than 30K per year and I was a registered democrat, but I was voting for Trump.
Was that wrong?

Hell no. Do they think we like being vandalized? I wish Trump and all the PACs for Trump would mail their voluminous fund-raising letters in plain brown envelopes, too, so even our Democrat post office wouldn’t know.
I was polled a minimum of once a week in 2016, and often more.
