Here is a 3 minute clip from the movie Goldfinger where James Bond talks to Goldfinger. Did Ian Fleming movie foreshadow a modern Chinese Attack on the U.S. Economy?

This Bond guy must have the best genes in history. Still going strong, and must be about 90-100 years old by now. And, he stays looking like a 30-40 year old, and with the best plastic surgeons around, who change his face every 5-15 years.

Everytime an American looked at an item for where it was made in it came from this country (China). Now China’s reliance making everything was being threatened by a change in leadership in America which was a major consumer of those products. When Americans hailed their leaders decision to make many of them in their country US. Their politburo worried. Worse yet opponents to the Chinese regime in power had its citizens protesting its policies since that change in American leadership wave the American flag and present his name when doing so. All of which presented those in power the need to destroy that leader,
Would a runaway plague created by a nation which could threaten populations of an enemy cause them to react by demanding extreme restriction of movement by its population to prevent its spread ? Thus wind up fragmenting its economy.The way this whole thing developed starting with the Italian fashion industry areas controlled by the Chinese commies hit by a runaway CoVid19. Sure looks suspicious particularly when crews of naval vessels somehow wind up being infected by it.

By the way, GOLDFINGER the novel was different from the film version...
In the novel, Goldfinger actually tried to steal gold from Fort Knox...Red Chinese is not involved...
Bond producers thought that stealing gold is impractical...
They came up with a better idea...Contaminate the gold supply instead with a nuclear weapon...
