The ONLY way they could make statements like that indicate they are pulling out all of the stops to make sure he and Harris win the election by whatever means necessary. I have never seen such confidence expressed by either party on an election win

Completely ridiculous.

A more rational thought is that they are so concerned about the election results that they are having to make outlandish promises, they have little chance of delivering, as a desperate plea for voters.

It would be like Trump saying he would cut off *ALL* trade with China were he to win. Would you really see that as confidence, or desperation? Obviously desperation to most rational people.
