You daughter will be fine. If you take her to doc, tell the doc she has a dry cough and low grade temp for 2 weeks and the antibiotic that worked on it last time was a Z pack ( azithromycin). Then demand it due to her last experience. If you can’t get hydroxychloroquine there.

While she has youth in her side, and you can follow other suggestions above, it would seem to be prudent to have a like minded physician who is willing to use hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and azithromycin (described by Zelenko et al) if it is medically indicated. Perhaps the freepmail addressed this.

Prayers up. I think I may have caught it as early as the weekend before Christmas. I was on my way up to MD to spend some time with family, and something got its hooks in me. I kept thinking, ah, it's just a bug, I'll feel fine tomorrow. I didn't. Similar to what your daughter is feeling - I slept 12 hours a day. I finally made an appointment to see my doc here in GA and I had a three day wait. His waiting room that he shares with two other docs at their practice was packed like a sardine can. His nurse said she'd never seen so many people all sick with the same thing. I got put on prednisone to open my chest, zithromycin for the infection, and Cherrytussin w/codeine for the cough (I'd gotten to the point where I was coughing up pink foam). My old wound therapy doc taught me that gummy multi-vites or liqui-caps are the best delivery method for your vitamins and minerals, and why. I was good to go within a week. Then I saw my doc last week for a checkup, and he said he's highly suspect that there was a COVID flash fire down here around the holidays, but back then, they didn't know what to look for, they all figured it was a nasty strain of the flu they hadn't been advised about. He said they're all each still seeing 30-40 patients a day. He looked like five miles of rutted road. Didn't even have his lab coat on, and you know how docs prize them like a green Master's jacket. I told him, my prescription was to pack up, rent a mountain cabin in the middle of nowhere for ten days, and spend it hiking and trout fishing. That'll buck up any man's physical and mental fortitude.
