I’m of Hispanic ancestry-I’m a Caucasian, like the majority of people of Hispanic ancestry-some are Black, but they are mostly from Caribbean islands-Cuba, Puerto Rico, etc-there are Asian Hispanics from the Philippines, too-Hisp0anic is just an ethnic group, NOT a race...
Exactly. Hispanics - which generally means people in the Americas united by having Spanish as their first language - can be very diverse ethnically. The majority are probably of European or European- mixed descent, but even if they are of African or Indian descent, they accept the ideas of Judeo Christian culture...and thats the important thing. The skin color doesnt matter.
Yup..
Los Latinos somos Blancos, somos Negros, somos Indios, somos Mestizos, somos Mulatos, somos Morenos, somos Bachacos, somos Hueros (o Catires). Every graduation of color. And on top of that we have los Chinos, specially in Peru.
So sad that when come to the USA we get infected with that cancer, that virus that is division and racism.
(granted, there is a little bit still in latino-american countries but not nearly as much)
