As POTUS said tonight—They want to silence us, but we will not be silenced.
Sorry for you Easy. We’ve had fireworks going off all up and down the street for over a week. IIRC, the usual fireworks stuff has been canceled here, except for some sort of display-wasn’t sure what they were talking about.
Usually where we live on one of tallest hills, we can see the fireworks from our own back yard without a need to get in the middle of crowds for the public displays. When the kids and grand kids were little we always had fireworks in our back yard too.
We just plan to watch the neighbors and whatever we can see from our hill top, unless the great-grand kids show up out of the blue—they live too far away though and even more out in the booties than we do-so not likely.
That’s true. And that only covers the last 400 years so. But we’re lead to believe Indian history began with the arrival of Europeans and prior to that it was all peaceful and harmonious.
Interestingly enough, recent archeological findings suggest that the first people to reach the Americas may have been Europeans. Still controversial, the Solutrean hypothesis argues for an Atlantic migration of the Solutreans peoples (who inhabited the region of modern France) approximately 20,000 years ago - some 10,000 years earlier than Asian migrations. This is based on the fact that the oldest known archeological sites are on the east coast, not the west coast as one would expect from an Asian migration. In addition, there are striking similarities between the arrow making technology of the Solutreans and that found later in the Americas.

I don’t think I’ve ever needed a speech as much as I needed that one. It was fantastic.
I thought we were taught that the native peoples didn’t have a concept of land ownership.??
I dont think Ive ever needed a speech as much as I needed that one. It was fantastic.
Amen to that !!!!
Hope he and Laura Loomer both win.
That sounds like a blast. Hopefully sanity will return by next July 4th and you’ll be able to celebrate the destruction of the Deep State in true style.
Better late than never - feel better!

(haha, look at CNN’s title)
Trump uses Mount Rushmore address to rail against removal of monuments
Whoever shouted it, I was thinking exactly the same thing at time, "Not on my watch."

DJT was very focused and controlled during that speech.
It was so obvious that he loves this country and shares our OUTRAGE at seeing the desecration of our history and our freedoms.
The crowd hung on his every word, as did I.
Well, Grandma and the rest of the Corps of Farm & Ranch Women are certainly on the job.
No cuss words (usually) but there are a whole bunch of derps with ears aflame and plans afoot to spread the flames.
spoke! be better!! we’re getting closer!!!
I feel your pain. The yearly fireworks in our small town in (M)assachusetts was cancelled for the first time this year. There’s a general store across from the DPW and basebaall field where they set the fireworks off. He let’s me park in his lot every year. I’m putting his children through college via my beer purchases. I’m in and out in a flash and never get caught in the resulting traffic.
Nope, not this year.
The fireworks after the speech more than made up for it. There were some in there I’ve never seen before.

The Democrats will say he’s calling for violence against them.
And everyone will wish it was true.
