She’s definitely Not Guilty. Also TTIUWOP.
I think it’s great when people can find this sort of job. Most reenactors are volunteers.
Saw this on a show a few years ago, about people who live unconventional lives....
Port Townsend couple lives like Victorians despite criticism

Her outfits are beautiful. Everybody dresses like a slob today. Comfort is the only consideration. Appearance is an afterthought.
People should be comfortable but we have gotten to wear pajamas and sweart pants are outdoor wear these days.
I can fully understand her desire to embrace the beauty and sophistication of the past that no longer exists.
I am so old, I remember when everybody at Las Vegas dressed up, with men in sport coats and ties, while women wore dresses and gowns and heels.
Today it is nothing but shorts and sandals. There is absolutely no taste or sophistication from Vegas visitors anymore. It is strictly maximum comfort and ease of use.
I am not a fan of modern life. We have lost far more than we have gained.
I wonder if she needs a Mr. Carson?
Love your job, and you will never have to work a day in your life. She is luck to have found a way to put her escapism from modern life to use in a way that supports her with a good income. She lives there, so it includes room and board.
I am going out on a limb and say she just won life’s lottery by doing what she loves. Hopefully she will get the museum job in England she is seeking.
A good scriptwriter could turn this sort of story into Twilight Zone meets Love Story, where the couple remain in that time of history, together forever.
Ball gowns: $2,500
Day dresses: $1,500
Hats: $500
Victorian accessories: $300
Corsets & hoop skirts: $200
OMG! Just looking at these pictures, this lady has class. She looks so feminine.
Me too!
Well, that was disappointing.
What a concept.
“and NEVER wears trousers”
Shoot ... that’s how I grew up as a Baptist P.K. She’s not special.
She had better be tat free as well.
Good for her. Quite a lovely lady.
I’ll bet she baths one a year like back then.
Jacqueline said she loves the fact that the Victorians had carriages instead of cars. ‘I’m not a fan of cars and I would love to go around in a carriage,’ she admitted
She hasnt considered the Real-world problems of harnessing the horses, hitching them to the carriage, controlling the recalcitrant beasts, streets full of horse manure and urine, no air sealing in the carriage to keep out dust and rain, muddy roads, no heater or air conditioner in the cabin, unharnessing tne horses, rubbing them down and brushing them, feeding them, mucking out the stables.
Plus the fact you arent going to just hop in your carriage and trot to the park, friends house, seashore, or city that is 50 miles away.
Shes got the romantic view of the ultra-wealthy of the time who had servants to do all those things for them.
