"Starboard..Prolly never. Passivity seems to be the prevailing spirit. The problem is the lawless are protected. Anyone defending themselves or their community will be prosecuted aggressively to send a message..."

Hey, Starboard, it's a "feature" that "our side" isn't quite so loaded up with loudmouth hotheads as our opposition. Personally, I'm admiring the restraint. The dipsticks in the leftist's brown shirts haven't yet come to grips with the fact that the po-po are also there to protect them from citizens once they get a belly full of this latest "tantrum". It's also a good thing to refrain from giving them what they want for the election. Some sortof "Kent State" type event initiated by white people or .gov to bloviate on. Personally, I'm with Napoleon on this one. But it'd be nice ta keep'em off the historical monuments.
While what Tucker sez does resonate, they're still in the business of selling airtime. And controversy=ratings. With the rest of'em controversy+agenda= get the base "motivated". But not generally in their own gated communities. Try some Schlichter.

"OldMissileer....We have become so accustomed to luxury the fighting spirit has been bred out of our culture."

Geezes H. While I don't think y'all are completely inaccurate for some demographics, yer observations are very different from what I'm seeing around "deplorable fly-over country". That said, I'd just as soon that if you 2 surrender-monkeys speak for you and yours then good luck to ya and I'm really hopin' y'all ain't in my AO.. Ciao.. d:^)

CT: I do agree that the Left desperately wanted some type of Kent State moment. Fortunately, Trump was too smart to take the bait. (The Left keeps setting him up but he never falls into their traps.)

I do think OldMissileer is right about our “softness” though and that there’s a big element of ‘reluctance’ in the ‘restraint’ you mentioned. The level of comfort in areas outside our the cities and in flyover country discourages people from risking everything they have to confront this evil. (Its hard enough trying to motivate people to even get off their couches to vote for crying out loud!)

Being skeptical about our willingness to stand up to rioters doesn’t make us surrender monkeys. We’re just pointing out the reality that comfortable lives inhibit people from getting actively involved, much less taking up arms especially when the system is so geared against them.

Right now the other side is more determined than we are and they are on the offensive. We will have to reverse our posture and accept the risks that go along with real conflict in order to turn this situation around. I don’t see that kind of strength, courage and commitment developing anytime soon. Its just too costly in a personal way for most ordinary Americans.
