In order to keep costs down megacorps adopted JIT (Just In Time) manufacture and delivery in order to minimize inventory costs. They also established and maintain relationships with specific suppliers to get and keep the best price.

JIT and single source are two things that are great in times of plenty, but horrible in times of chaos and tragedy.

Will governments draft regulations to force megacorps to do away with JIT or single-sourcing?

It will be interesting to see how this works itself out.

Is this aimed at the lies associated with the Katyn Forest incident? The Holodomor? The Holocaust?

I certainly hope this isn't some plan to ban certain forms of speech however objectionable. Hate speech laws are only put it place by people who hate free speech. Let's please not follow the path that Europe has. It has proven to be a very slippery slope.
