PITTSBURGH Dozens of Port Authority of Allegheny County service routes have been cancelled Friday because of reduced staff due to COVID-19 and the Juneteenth holiday.
A spokesperson for the Port Authority said more than 100 employees are not working because of the coronavirus. That number includes people who do not feel comfortable returning to work or have compromised immune systems.
The spokesperson said some callouts are also likely because of Juneteenth.

Why does Pittsburgh have a Port Authority? It’s a land-locked city. I just don’t grok the thinking of some people.
