BLM has ALWAYS pushed to “Defund the Police”. Community based policing by unarmed community organizers has always been part of their platform, along with closing down almost all prisons.
BLM has ALWAYS been a communist organization. They demand core communist ideals like “collective ownership”, unionization, banning private property or corporate ownership of natural resources, etc.
They also embrace socialist/green principals like “restorative justice”, free education, single payer health care, LGBT rights, banning fossil fuels, cutting military and police. All of this wrapped in a very transparent “anti-racist” cloth.
They go further, demanding separate institutions, additional political rights and extra-constitutional representation. Even political independence and self determination, along with massive redistribution to black and other “marginalized communities”.
