I have some liberal friends and we seldom touch on politics. On the rare occasion when we do and I feel I must say something to counteract complete lies, I try to use a question instead of a statement. Somehow, starting with ... “are you aware that ....? really helps. Of course, they are almost never aware of what I bring to their attention and they do listen.
That’s a good technique. Will have to try it whenever I can even try to discuss an issue with them. Thanks.
