I pray for President Trump to stop tweets that are meant to publicly insult people, especially those who are not key to his presidency. He is such an amazing man and has done so much good for hard working patriotic Americans. He has had to endure more attacks than probably any other president. His endurance and patience are not unlimited. I hope that he does not crack.

What he has been through in just a short time would be overwhelming to anybody else. First impeachment. Then the virus. Now riots. And I’m pretty sure most of it was orchestrated or otherwise used against him to try to topple his presidency.

Generally I don’t mind any of his tweets & usually I’m cheering them on. However, right now there is chaos & sadness on so many fronts. Yes, the left is behind all of it, but nevertheless, many people are suffering whether out of a job, or someone they know died of Wuhan, or their city is burning.... Floyd had a funeral today & people around the world turned out. Like it or not, right or wrong, many turned out in part, as a protest against Trump.

Mattis started it & for me, posting Dowd’s letter would have been perfect & sufficient. The rest is getting petty, especially at this time.

Sometimes less is more & is more magnanimous. Sometimes you don’t have to win every battle to win the war. There is more than one way to win a battle and Mattis lowered himself with his remarks. In my opinion, Trump didn’t need to punch down at this time.
