I'm agreeing that Pelosi is intentionally blocking. But she can't block other branches from acting. Pompeo could give a fog what Pelosi wants.
As to corrupt, evil countries: that's the real world, dude. Going back to Noah. When people have no voice, when individuality, equality and altruism are foreign concepts, the guy with the biggest stick wins until someone comes along with a bigger stick. When people do have a voice, when they are allowed to ask questions, like in America, sooner or later shady dealings will come into the light of day. There will always be people who abuse their power. We can try to check them. But we'll never stop evil; there's only one person who can stop that and He's not ready to return to work yet.
