I even regret going Trick or Treat for UNICEF as a kid, although it was a good way to meet girls ;-)
This may be wrong by today’s standards.. but I recall trick or treating for my own benefit.
We should absolutely teach children to be grateful for what they have, but dang it! Let them have it! Kids today can’t seem to have a good time without it benefiting the poor...the lesser, the underprivileged...
