It’s a hunch just by all the mass and rosary talk and defensiveness even though mine is not intended to be an opinion about the veracity of the Catholic Church.

1. I don’t like the pope but neither do most Catholics here..I do like the traditions of the church and it’s historical war to keep western civilization Christian ..we owe them for that
WHO CARES what you like or dislike about the Church. It's been around 2000 years and will, I bet, outlive YOU.
I don't dislike the Pope. Why would I? He has so little to do with my own life. Those who waste their time, energy and efforts loathing a pope REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need a life.
And they need Jesus, since He IS the Way, the Truth and the Life. John 4:16

2. Anyhow we have a lot of northerners here where Catholicism is more prevalent ...it’s less dominant in the south except Louisiana and coastal areas from Texas to Alabama

They SHOULD be. Sex is meant ONLY for married-to-each-other man + woman. Kinky is fine as long as it ends with the baby-making finish.
