“Were you out of the lobby when they brought the guy through the lobby?”
I did not stick around to watch them haul out the infected person. And frankly, nobody knows for sure that his “flu like symptoms” are COVID.
But reason suggests it probably was. And the paramedics CERTAINLY, MOST CERTAINLY were properly bundled up and grim.
BIL gave me a spare N95 from an old construction job, still in the bag.
But I’m not going back to the lobby for awhile, and I don’t want my room to be serviced by any of the staff.
I’ll do it myself, thank you.
Thats got to be a humbling sight. My son was in a CV patient area today. He saw someone being brought in a bubble. Freaked him about a little. At least he was able to wear a Tyvek suit and full face respirator. Last week, the hospital wasnt letting them even wear masks until he got to his work site.
So, we as a family were supposed to do spring break at the lake next week. We cant go, but we kept the rental for him. He deserves a nice break. He plans to fish all week :-)
Please stay safe!
Good idea(s).
Better safe, than sorry.
Good on not letting staff in.
