Call B.S. Y’all sit around and pontificate how it isn’t “so bad”, folks trying to earn a living are being look down upon by you folks for not ‘ being prepared’... Classless...
The only ones saying it aint so bad are the flubros who are living in denial and freaking out over the loss of their finances.
You, being a FReeper, have had access to the same information that the rest of us had.
If you didnt see problems coming from watching Chinas REACTION to this virus, in spite of what they said, then thats all on you. Dont hold us accountable for your lack of foresight.
And you clearly dont have a clue what you are talking about.
Prepping does NOT preclude working for a living. It does, however, include wisdom in making financial decisions that include not living paycheck to paycheck, or being in a financial bubble that could burst at the slightest disruption.
Too many Americans are in way too much debt from having to have the latest thing, gadget, vacation, car, house, you name it, and being encouraged to spread themselves way too thin financially.
Dont buy a new car every couple years, buy a house within your means, plan on having enough food in your home to last more than a week, dont be a slave to fashion....
There are a million ways people could plan if they werent living for the moment.
Why are you complaining? If you’re ‘critical’ you’re working. If you’re laid off, you get unemployment now. If you’re on furlough, you’ll get paid by your employer if he wants to get free money to do it. If you have a small business, go to your bank and get a forgiveable loan so you can pay your employees. Did you not know about all these things?
I agree.
