Ah, was jumped on anyway. Next time I’ll ask my questions on a different thread.
People seem to be taking precautions all across the country. I just thought it would be beneficial for the entire nation to know all the facts regarding age/underlying deaths.
He didn’t jump on you.
He replied to your post.
The mortality rate/age isn’t the ‘biggie’ with this virus.
It’s the morbidity. ie, how many of these patients in theier 30s-50s require hospitalization for 2 or 3 weeks to recover?
Because 30-50 isn’t ‘elderly’ or ‘aged’. It’s middle aged. It’s the people who run companies, are leaders in their groups, who have mortages, kids in school.
How many of these people can we do without should the HCS fail? Because those are the major earners/taxpayers.
Cedar, I’m not trying to be a jerk to you. I realize my posting style might be more than some are used to, and I apologize to you for that.
Let me try and state it another way.
If you go back and look at these daily Cornavirus threads from when they started, there is so much information on this beastie contained therein. There are people in this thread who are off the charts smart, and they are do their darnedest to compile information for people who don’t know much or anything, such as myself.
If you have extra time on your hands, I invite you to go back and read them. There are thousands of posts that contain more useful information than I have seen anywhere else. No other website, no news channel, no radio show can even compare.
Again, I’m sorry for coming on strong.
Every day, on every news broadcast we hear that this virus is most dangerous to the very old and those with health conditions that compromise their immune system. Specific lists of the most dangerous co-morbidities have been splashed across news screens and discussed by "expert" guests ad nauseum, often with specific mortality figures associated with each condition. Everyone knows. But you expect people to believe you somehow missed it?
In fact, the media OVERSTATED this information to the point that young and healthy people were almost completely ignoring the virus, giving it names like "boomer flu" and "boomer remover", and the media had to specifically warn that large numbers of people under 60 were getting very sick, and that this virus can be dangerous to anyone.
