Yeah, fortunately I don’t think this is an ongoing thing, I see my neighbors maybe once a month. They were petting the pups through the fence. I will just use gloves to handle the dogs for a while. Sadly, I was encouraging them to pet the pups in January so they wouldn’t bark at them all the time.
If it happens again problem, I will say something. For now, I will just be super careful. Like I would the mail.
Maybe you could alter the fence a bit so they can’t pet right through it? (says the city girl who has never owned an animal)
cool. I just have in the back of my mind China slaughtering 3/4 of their swine because of ‘swine fever’ but who knows if ‘fever’ was the real problem or this virus was (humans being sort of compatible with pigs and if pigs can catch the virus, maybe other livestock?).
