It'd be great if whoever designed this designed it to self destruct after so long. I don't know if such a thing is possible but I sure hope for it.
Another factor I neglected to mention, Johnson changed the initial plan, allowing the virus to run its course, to a lockdown and implementing quarantines - actions proven to be effective against the spread of the virus in China and Asian countries.
