It’s not that I’m a coward, I just don’t want to add to the problem of an overloaded medical system. If they need the time to manage the outbreak, staying secluded is a part I can play. I’m a Trump supporter and he’s asking me to do this, so I will.

It’s been progressing, but next year we’ll have a “voluntold” national shutdown starting January through April as a “precaution”. Watch. The people LOVE being told not to work. They’re going to hate the consequences, but they’ll do it all again next year.
You have a point. If people had the current attitude in the 1800’s, the Westward Expansion would never have occurred and we would still be 13 colonies on the eastern seaboard.

I cannot speak about the rest of the world but the generation who fought World War II raised a generation of spoiled brats called the boomers who had everything handed to them and turned around and shit all over everything.
