I think I had it in November after visiting Hawaii. Lots of Hawaiians were sick, I got it from Sis and her BF. Came home, entire family got it, and similar rampaged the Seattle/Tacoma area.
I never get sick, first time in about 4-5 years. I got better, then sick again...total of 3 weeks. Lots of folks were horribly sick.
Now, Hawaii has virtually zero cases. Perhaps because they already had it, are now immune? That place has TONS of travelers...germs everywhere...why nobody sick now??
I will admit, my symptoms did not make me short of breath or have lung issues.
Did my getting that seriously sick back then, give me better immunity now? I am also a rare case of mosquito and bug bite immune. I got that after living in mosquito infected Anchorage in my 2nd of 4 yrs living there.
“Hawaii has virtually zero cases.”
Hawaii has 37 cases as of today:
I believe that November is when the virus first appeared in China.
I dont think you could have picked up the virus in Hawaii until January at the earliest.
My son knows/knew (4 of them died so far) the family in New Jersey from college days...
