I was half-joking. I saw his posts on the other thread bragging about his credentials.

I’d trust Dr. John Campbell of youtube fame before that blowhard and his 3 credentials.

We wont know how fast it is spreading because of lack of tests..
I suppose you can kind of guess through using the serious cases

Mark Cuban is encouraging his employees to patronize local independent bars and restaurants, saying he will reimburse them.

I hope he’s encouraging food bank donations. Millions of our fellow Americans are about to be unemployed for a long time. If people aren’t going to restaurants they certainly won’t be buying houses. 2008 here we come.

“ How can I be sure the people listed as dead from corona virus actually died from it?”

Don’t touch your face.

I missed this part of your post earlier, having only skimmed it at that time.

Don’t jump to criticize, especially when your criticism is based on a wrong assumption about my intention. Pedantry often distracts from the ability to discern essential truths, and to comment based on wrongful interpretation of intent simply leads you further down the path of error.

Not capitalizing “spirit” was conscious and deliberate. I was talking about the spirit in which I post.

GA

The Albany hospital already had been treating another individual who tested positive.

Five of the eight are hospitalized there, and three are at home.

Albany
The state’s reported total of coronavirus patients stood at 99 on Sunday, up from 64 the day before.

Besides the current individuals with positive tests, Phoebe is awaiting coronavirus test results on 41 other patients in the hospital. Each has symptoms of the disease – typically fever and signs of acute respiratory illness, such as cough and difficulty breathing.

About 30 Phoebe staff members – from doctors and nurses to housekeepers – are self-quarantining at their homes, having had contact with coronavirus patients and showing mild symptoms, said Scott Steiner, CEO of Phoebe Putney Health System.

After the testing catches up the data will be useful. But that will probably be weeks or longer.

I think daily deaths would be the best indicator, hard to find a record though. Critical cases would be a good indicator. Maybe better.

“ The ene-media is shamelessly stirring up panic.”

They literally are doing everything they can to not cause panic, while at the same time to get you to stay home, wash your hands, and stop touching your face.

A better question is why are you posting comments like you did to me?

I’ve learned that all I have to do is question the coronavirus, or otherwise criticize the deep state, and I’ll have plenty of opportunity to answer a barrage of sudden, personal attacks against me.

THree people from Mar a lago have tested positive. I don’t believe the Brazil President so I am saying he is likely a fourth.

https://nypost.com/2020/03/14/third-person-at-mar-a-lago-with-trump-tests-positive-for-coronavirus/

Trump has tested Negative. We do know that you can go Negative and still have it.

That said, I hope he takes this as a warning that he needs to keep his distance as leaders are getting this.

He needs to sort of go to the mattresses,..we arent totally there yet...but sort of...

CV Axiom:

The tests cannot ever catch up to the number of folks with the virus.

The reason that must be so is that many folks with mild symptoms (or no symptoms!) will not want to be tested.

“Yikes....going for the younger group, now. :(”

No, they have been there in the data all along, but it was overrepresentation of older folks who could travel or take cruises that died fastest that skewed the data. With community spread, time and hospital hotspots we’re seeing a more diverse age demographic.

Add this to the mix:
Italy’s outbreak has also marked some of the first reported cases of coronavirus being imported back to China. Qingtian, a small county in China’s southeastern Zhejiang province, confirmed eight new cases of coronavirus on March 2 from Chinese nationals living in Italy’s Lombardy region. There are more than 300,000 Chinese nationals living in Italy, and roughly 90% of them in the Zhejiang Province; the garment industry there has attracted Chinese workers.Fortune Magazine - March 6th
