On the bad side people thought: “OMG! The President is making a speech about covid!” That caused a market drop, and other problems.
But it got people to take care at the last moment too. Which will pay off.

The markets were falling already from the broken supply chain. If he did not make that speech the market would have still gone down.
I never believe in the Its Just a Flu Bro group, I pull my money out of the market on Feb 6 as soon as I knew it was not a flu.
Sitting pretty waiting for the market to stabilize after the virus goes away.
