I’m wondering: can you have the flu AND Coronavirus? I know multiple people who have the flu now. I thought it had run it’s course around here. But this week, several adults and children have tested positive for flu.

Yes, there have been reports of co-infections.

I don’t see why not. People can get flu and pneumonia at the same time, which is often their very last illness ever.

Absolutely. Before COVID-19 ramped up, we noticed a remarkable number of patients diagnosed with both influenza and strep throat this season.

Also note--there are two types of coronavirus (229E and OC43) which cause the common cold. There is no cross-immunity for the two cold viruses. In other words, you potentially could get over a cold and come down with another, or be infected with both at once. OC43 is the most common.

I have not heard that but I am wondering too .
I have a worker who may have it in NC .
He had the flu the. rebounded .
