I don't think she'll try to keep Archie. When's the last time anyone saw the kid and his mom together. He's a "drag" on her high flying lifestyle.

Archie is her anchor to the Crown’s bank account. If she abandoned her child, she would likely be vilified in the media. It’s more likely she ransoms him for periodic visits, for the right price.
