The change from BB/pellet to ice cube just made it non-fatal (Although I've made crows do some really High G turns to get out of the way of that shiny stuff comin' at 'em.).

If you use the marbles from paint cans, or regular ones, the shrapnel from a near miss will get them if they’re sitting on stone, cement or brick.
