While I truly disliked Carter, and despised his policies, I have to admit that I am pleased that every time he leaves the hospital, he is immediately surrounded by his church group, to remind him that there are people who love him. Never thought of him as evil and deserving of emotional destruction. Just amazingly idiotic for a smart man.

That said, I won’t be emotionally destroyed myself if he DOES turn out to be Q’s implied target. (But I’ll leave my bet with RBG)
