Ayn Rand nailed it Atlas Shrugged

To regulate everyone, government must create regulations that can’t be kept.

What Ayn didn’t tell us (until, “Return of the Primitive”) is that lawless ones, unfettered by little to no punishment, will become the “minders” of those who strive to uphold the law.

Once again reminding us of the Law & Gospel theology of the sainted Dr. Martin Luther: Adherence to the Law provides no justification nor righteousness before God.
