As I'm sure you've heard a million times, various employers will import temporary foreign workers to do certain (mostly manual) seasonal labor when they supposedly can't find Americans to do the work. The legal mechanism by which these workers do enter known as the H2-A visa.

Historically, the employer had to show that they posted the job ad in attempt to recruit Americans, that none/few replied, which then justified them seeking H2-A foreign workers.

Guess what the requirement was for them to "post a job ad"? It meant literally posting an ad in a print newspaper!

Yep! So they would post some small ad, nobody would reply, then they'd claim "Americans won't do these jobs".

Granted, a lot of these jobs are obscure, and require time away from home and are back breaking labor. But still, posting an ad in a print newspaper which nobody will see is really a cop out half assed effort.

Earlier this year, the Department of Labor changed the rule, and now all seasonal jobs requesting H2-A foreign labor must be posted on a single site:

So now it's all consolidated in one place.

For any pedes who don't want a "regular" job, or are perhaps just looking for something temporary and out of the ordinary, maybe even out of your geographic area, give it a look!

Concerning 'something BIG' I'm going to go out on a small limb and say it will concern a major agreement with NK.

Flynn is reported to be in ROK right now, and China has agreed to sign the Phase Trade Deal Saturday. China has asked the UN to end sanctions against NK.

So Saturday Trump, Kim and XI will meet in Korea to sign the 2 deals.
