Bark was wrapped up with Ayres and messing around in college being groomed for revolution and then tied up with practicing community organizing during Bush years beginning in 2000, and with his dear Reverend what’s his name.
I think no Republican administration would put him in or near the CIA during those years, myself. His US Senate win set his projectory for his DNC speech at the national convention and his subsequent stardom.

0b0la lived very near Ayers when 0 was (supposedly) going to Columbia College, and Ayers was still bombing etc. THere was a bank robbery in which, IIRC, one guard or cop was killed, and two guys in a getaway car, who were never found/ID’ed. One or both were black; it is thought that 0 might have been one of them. Hopefully someone who remembers more of these details will correct me.
0 was a one point living with a “well built Pakistani” fellow named Siddiq something or other, can’t remember last name at the moment. Fanous photo of 0 and the well built Pakistani sitting very, VERY close on a couch....
I read a long time ago that it was thought O was one of the guys who got away too. Also read that the vehicle they used to get away crashed later and is the reason why O has those scars on his head. Who knows?
