It’s all before my time of conservative wokeness, but IIRC Poppy was in the ohl business for a time and then Congress...

Dubya, I’m not so sure of his CV before he was Governor. I don’t know that he even ran for Congress like Poppy. Dubya ran the Texas Rangers baseball team for awhile.
