I’ve been having that experience too. The content I held at arms length because, “surely it can’t be true” keeps being validated by victim accounts from all over the world.

While I agree, I am also amazed and grateful that any victims survived and additionally blessed by those who dare to tell their stories knowing what might happen to them in retaliation, and knowing that many won’t believe them.
I have actually refrained from digging deeper because I don’t know if I want to know any more. Not to mention, what do you do with the info once you have it? It carries like a burden...
