You have the correct idea. When you say $15 an hour is the norm...it begs for automation. By 2030, I think you will be able to walk into most McDonalds and find only six employees handling what twenty employees used to do. One of the six will be a robotics repair guy...making $35 an hour.
The question left....where will Jeffery (the marginal loser who ran the fries ‘mission’) find work?
