I thought Bill Mitchell was recently exposed as a pay-triot. (IIRC). If so, that makes his tweets a bit suspect.

Mitchell wants a living out of what he’s doing. I consider him a self-promoter; he was never pretending to have a day job. But I don’t consider him duplicitous about it. He still, to me, is worth checking.
